pike eats gravel?

So I was reading though this website and saw a post about AGR eating mud? This in itself seems weird, but the discussion also had some more dirt. A person commented saying that "pike eats gravel". This is a really rocky road to go down for these guys. The main reason that I don't understand the situation is because they have a BLACKTOP parking lot. Are they bringing in this gravel from somewhere else?
