chi omega probation??
by: PNMOk so is Chi O like not pairing for anything this year at all? I heard they were off of probation, so I don't really get why they wouldn't be pairing. I really like them but I kind of want a social life in a sorority so I'm trying to figure this out.

Here is the total truth: chi o is off formal probation by their nationals but still on VERY close watch. Chi omega has not been pairing for any fraternity functions this year and most likely won't be. they do not have a football buddy, and they won't have a football buddy. When I went through rush I really liked chi o too. They put on a great face for recruitment. But after recruitment, chi os become irrelavent. And in truth, the girls are not known to be very friendly. One of the meanest of the top tier id say, on par with aphi

I felt the same way about Chi O.. I really really loved them, but it sucks that they won't have a football buddy or good pairings for functions this year.

A phi has the mat chill and outgoing girls on campus! Yes, they like to hang out together, but that's because they have such a tight sisterhood and get along so well.

They're off national probation, they were not off at the time of football pairings. Also, no sororities "pair" for functions anymore. They're all registered as list functions to avoid getting people in trouble. They'll pair for Grand Prix and they'll pair well

They probably won't pair for Grand Prix because they're on a close watch and nationals is literally breathing down their neck. If they do then they'll pair with a mid-tier house.

If you're choosing a house based on pairings and functions, then your head is not in the right place. Every house goes out and functions, some houses are in the wrong place at the wrong time. No one can predict the future and probations, the house you picked because you sense that they go out a lot may end up on Probo, then what.
