sorority cost
by: PnmDoes anyone have an idea of what the range of cost is for a new member who is not living in? I plan on rushing this fall and I just want to be prepared for the price tag. Thanks!

Almost all houses on campus require you to live in for at least one year, most likely two or three. So be prepared for that (I saved money by living in my house compared to the dorms). You typically have to start paying some sort of housing cost as well as new member fee. I would say plan to spend $700-$900 freshman year for dues. You can pay this as a monthly fee almost always! This will include your pin, and also initiation items you may be give . Also, you will have lots of favors thrown out there like tshirts, hats, ect. You don't have to buy these, but you will probably want to because you'll be excited to rep your letters! I know it may seem like a lot, but it's definitely worth it the first year for a life time of friends.
