When reading the overly negative reviews about any sorority, ask yourself “why would anyone be so motivated to knock down a group of young women? And what kind of person would do that?” Don’t be fooled. This is all a type of reverse marketing and some of it is a version of mean-girl tactics to keep others down to make themselves look better. Keep an open mind. Judge for yourself. There’s a right fit for everyone and a place for everyone. Every sorority has its unique personality, it’s own quirks and highlights, and and has a mixture of people, which changes with every single pledge class. You can’t take a snapshot and say it’s the last word. Gamma Phi Beta is a great organization, one of the oldest sororities in the country with admirable values and alumni. Keep the big picture in mind. GPhi girls are REAL and the total package - smart and sweet and cute. They’re authentic and classy. They are your girl-next-door, all grown up and refined. Don’t believe the rumors. See for yourself and drown out the gossip-mongers and superficial “rankings.”

When you rush this house they are going to tell you how incredible of a sisterhood it is and that it is drama free. Ya well those are lies. One time when I went to hang out with a friend over there I saw girls CAMPING outside another person's door. I asked what was going on and my friend said.. "oh ya they like the listen in on people's conversations." Thats sad. Gphi is not a house full of nice girls. They are rude and very trashy. Hell... they once almost got blacklisted at a LOWER TIER house a year ago. No wonder retention rates at this house are falling. Very toxic and stuck up when they aren't even that attractive.

Hey girls, if you are going through recruitment soon and are looking on this website, maybe you should rethink why you are rushing. All of the sororities at Purdue are filled with such incredible women, and they shouldn’t be judged on hateful online reviews that are usually made up. All of the Panhellenic houses are amazing, and I know all of you can find a house you belong in when you get to meet all of these wonderful women. :)

Welp if we gonna see any sorority kicked off campus soon its gonna be this one. Full of girls who are back stabbers and constantly drink until hey end up in the hospital. Sad to say but its true.

Some of the most inconsiderate, close-minded, malicious girls on campus. They will ruin your life if you tell them anything. Know how to twist your words and make themselves the victim. You think Gphi is nice on the outside... but the more you get to know one of them the more mean they become. Don't mess with this house. Should be kicked off campus.

nice girls. not a top tier but probably middle low or high bottom. lots of diversity and very sweet. always chill to do homework, but rowdy at parties

Pay attention please because this here is a much more realistic rank of Gphi. Unfortunately this is necessary to balance fake ratings by others to make themselves look better. If you’re into “tiers” (which are meaningless when you’re trying to find the right sisterhood for YOU) GPhi at Purdue is solidly somewhere in the middle to upper lower - but these tiers are so absurd if what you want is a home and a sisterhood - what matters is where you feel accepted. If you’re going through recruitment, KEEP AN OPEN MIND. If you actually want a house that will feel like a home and accept you for YOU, the houses considered middle and bottom “tier” are the houses for you. I have a lot of friends in those houses and they are so much happier than my friends in the “top tier” houses. Each new pc changes the composition and vibe of a sorority, so old reviews are meaningless. Gphi is on the rise with some super cute, classy young women who know how to have fun. The vibes in the middle and bottom tier sororities are so much more fun and less judgmental, and they should not be overlooked at all. Instead of relying on rankings or reviews, base your opinion on YOUR experience.
