Sure, Betas are "classy" and seem so genuine but in reality? Totally not. I have friends that pledged Beta and they completely changed. All Betas fit the same Beta mold and honestly it's kind of sad. Phi Taus, SigEps, and hell, maybe even a few Delts are INDIVIDUALS and their chapters value and encourage that (primarily SE & PT). I wish campus wasn't so blinded by their "perfection".

I'm sorry to burst "TheLawrenceDiffer ence's" bubble, but in fact Sigma Phi Epsilon ended the school year with the highest GPA average and the most service hours among all LU fraternities. In reality, Beta has just been coasting on a high of being the school administration and campus life's favorite son for the past decade. Some are good friends of mine, but most are non-genuine, goody two shoes with less intrigue than blank sheet of paper. DGs love them because they're a "safe bet"... Yawn

Plenty of genuinely kind-hearted members. However, it also consists of individuals who lie and spread rumors about others with the effect of ruining lives. They may say they have the "tightest" sisterhood, but they're really insignificant when it comes down to it. They need to clean house, and remove the crazies, and judgmental types before their reputation can even begin to improve around campus.

The "tight bond" that members of DG profess to have is nothing more than a well constructed facade. In reality, while many individual members are very nice people, many are also not. In fact those who are not are incredibly shallow, narrow-minded, judgmental, holier-than-though type people. They boast about their wonderful campus involvement when truthfully what they actually provide are non-effective and non-essential BS fundraisers, which serve as ego boosts for a group of super insecure women

As a neutral non-greek who has been here for three years I've seen all of the fraternities on campus and they are the best. Highest GPA, most volunteer hours of any greek organization, throw great parties, what's not to like?. They also host all-campus events like their pig roast during LUAroo, Beta Auction, and held a pancake breakfast benefiting Riverview Gardens and Habitat for Humanity.
