They seem really nice at first but most have no interest in your as a potential or as a brother. I’ve known guys who get in but want to leave shortly after getting in because their brotherhood isn’t real. I’ve been told by multiple friends within sororities that their recruitment is only numbers based and they really don’t care who you are.

I was called the N word by a brother in this frat and told I would never make into any fraternity after not signing an early bid for them

Some of the best men on campus. They are open-minded, friendly, and fun to hang around. Unlike other organizations, they truly seem to care about their brotherhood

The brothers of SAE consist of some of the most influential and best leaders on our campus. They are super friendly and outgoing, fun to be around, and work hard to make a difference in our community.

I dated an SAE at UNH all through his college days, and they are some of the most inviting, respectable men I have met. They never failed to make me feel welcome and appreciated since I go to a different school. They all live up to the “true gentleman” standard and it shows by how inclusive and respectful they are. Love this group!

They’re ok. Kind of scary to hang out with and like to hang with “cooler” groups, but hear they have some good parties and are involved on campus

The gentleman of SAE always seem to be involved on and off of campus, their parties are a whole lot of fun when they’re open for everyone. They are the biggest fratnernity on campus and do a lot with sororities, while exclusive things can sometimes seem unfair SAE is always so nice.

As a freshman I came out for Greek Life with an open mind yet even with good intentions I received the worst experience possible. I planned on talking to every organization to better understand the brothers that represented them. The first event I went out for was SAE and that's when I knew the stigma around this particular fraternity was true. After the event we had that Monday we're immediately brought to an unknown location. Moments later we were in a house and being threaten by brothers to sign our bids early and not allowed to speak with other orgs throughout recruitment week. If we didn't comply it come back to bit us. Me and the freshmen feared for our lives and some gave into the peer pressure. I hate to badmouth an organization but this HAS TO BE HEARD. (they keep deleting my comment to SILENT ME!) PS. THEIR RATINGS ARE RIGGED (5 STARS FOR EVERYTHING?) ABSOLUTE RED FLAG!!
