out of state junior transfer?
by: Honest
So next fall I will transfer to UNC as a junior (currently live in SC, been in CC for two years). I really want to join a sorority but in afraid I won't get a bid because I'm a junior transfer who is also out of state. What are my honest chances of getting a bid? (From any house, I'm not worried about tiers)
Thank you all ❤️

Way to be Panhellenic and promote sisterhood. Tearing each other down just makes non-Greeks think worse of Greek life. To the OP, there is an upperclassman quota that all sororities can fill so you will not be competing against the freshmen. It's not very common for juniors to get bids but that's also because not many juniors rush. Make yourself appealing before you rush- make sure you have a good GPA, clean up your social media, and getting some recs wouldn't hurt. If you go in with an open mind and look for the girls you click with, NOT just the girls who are "top tier," I'm sure you'll find your sorority home!
