disgusted

by: i just have to say

This is my first time looking at this site as a non-greek student and I just have to say that it is completely disgusting that women would go on a site like this and tear each other down, especially criticizing other sororities based on their looks. That is just the complete opposite of what women should stand for today, especially greek women if you all really believe in the things your organizations claim you do. So any of you that want to comment on this to say I'm pathetic for looking at this site when I'm not greek, or any other comments that get made on here so often - go for it.

We're glad you're not going to tear us down or criticize us on our looks, connections, or wealth, thanks!

That said, can you give us your top/middle/bottom sorority tier list?

maybe its because i'm out of state and not in greek life, but it baffles me that there even needs to be a "tier system" and if there does need to be one, why can't it be based off of qualities more important than looks or wealth? like how involved the chapter is on campus, how much money they raise for their philanthropy, and their gpa. know this will never happen but it'd be much more positive if it did

As someone in a sorority at UNC, I did look at the overall campus involvement, philanthropy, etc going through recruitment. I completely disagree with most everything that is written on this site, and can honestly say that I haven't found many people like this in my sorority. It's a shame that women like this are out there and care so much about the wrong things. Hopefully, UNC Greek life can move toward being a better overall representation of the right ideals.
