rushing as a sophomore
by: ??I am a current freshman who opted not to go through formal recruitment, but I have recently decided that I am very interested in rushing. Will rushing as a sophomore hurt my chances of getting into a house? What houses usually take sophomores?

The upperclassman quota makes it easier for sophomores to go through rush and most (if not all) houses will take some sophomores. I would also suggest looking into spring recruitment- even if the groups you're interested in aren't participating it's still a great way to meet sisters and get your name out there for the fall.
