spring recruitment

Any sorority under house total can take girls in the spring. However, only 2 houses (possibly 3 if you include Alpha Phi) openly recruit in the spring. If other houses take girls, they do it on the DL.

It isn't really a thing. You're probably better off waiting until next fall than worrying about spring recruitment.

I heard KKG might not be doing spring rush this year because they got a much larger pledge class than anticipated. My guess is that if they do spring rush, it'll be fairly small and even if they have "official" events they still might not take many girls. Tri Sig will definitely be doing rush because they're already struggling with numbers. Usually almost every sorority takes at least 1 girl in the spring but some of them don't like to admit it. Phi Mu has done spring rush every year since I've been here (I'm a senior) but they don't ever admit that they're officially doing it (although two years they even took more girls than KKG because they needed more numbers than them). Spring rush is a lot easier. It's very relaxed and basically you just meet girls in the house and have real convos. My advice is to get to know girls in every house...even if you don't end up joining in the spring, it'll still be nice to know them.

Jesus KKG stop with the self promotion already. Or if you're going to do it, at least try hiding it better. To answer the question, most sororities do some form of it but it's not open admission and actual rush unless the girls need numbers (generally lower tiers because a lot of girls drop). The rest do mostly snap bids. I know a lot of sophomores that received bids from sororities all their friends were in during the spring
