rush ruined my self confidence

I am a senior in a strong sorority whom I love here at UNC, and I have been in your shoes. I came in thinking recruitment was going to be a fun process because I am pretty outgoing and had solid conversations with the girls. Looking back on it, even thought I thought we had great conversations our personalities did not fit so they dropped me. Like you, I was sad when girls in my group were asked back to the houses I thought I wanted, but having been on the other side I know that there are girls who might have full card simply because the houses are doing curtosy to them. You are only in one sorority, having fewer houses on your card simply means you (and the chapters) have been better able to narrow where you would make the most meaningful friends. Every woman at UNC is intelligent and bright- this does not define you.
