junior transfer
by: transfergirli might be transferring this coming fall and i was wondering as a junior next year, would a lot of sororities not want me? i really want to belong to a sorority for philanthropy and friendship. i'm a really good student and could bring a lot to the table but i don't want to go through with rush next year if being a junior will automatically hurt me.

That's not true. Each house has an upperclassman quota - it can be sophomore or junior. If you know girls in sororities at UNC now, reach out to them....come to Chapel Hill and visit them. It's going to take someone in a house to really speak up for you. Also, keep an open mind. Don't rule out any house in advance. It can't hurt to try!
