why do tiers matter?

I am in a middle sorority and these "tiers" make me feel somewhat bad about my sorority. I love it and the girls are amazing but I because its not a "top tier" sorority, I don't feel as proud about it as if I were a KD or Tri Delt. Is it normal for me not to want to display my sorority letters all over whereas I know KD girls who put KD stickers on everything they own because they are so proud? Why do I feel like this despite liking the sorority a lot?! Help!

Fact 1: Tiers do matter to some people. Some people care about them a lot.
Fact 2: These people are generally not worth your time and absolutely not worth your stress.
