If you're visiting this 'site', you might be a PNM (Potential New Member) who is beginning Recruitment on Thursday. I am a former VP of Recruitment for UNC Panhellenic Council. The best advice I can give you is this..... listen to your heart during Recruitment. Don't listen to the other girls in your group, don't listen to your parents (they haven't been in college in YEARS! Things have changed since the 80's), don't listen to your friends at other schools, don't pay attention to 'tiers', and most importantly DON'T listen to people on this site!! The majority of people posting aren't UNC students, and if they are, how legitimate do you think their comments are? It's an anonymous site, and they can say whatever they want without repercussions. You will get released from some of your favorite.houses, and it will hurt your feelings. Don't dwell on it...just find a new favorite of the houses that still want to get to know you better! If you stick with the process, you will find a new home and lifelong friends. Good luck! .
