‘Twas the night before bid day . . .
by: PoetTwas the night before bid day and all through the school, future sorority women went to sleep trying to stay cool. Their MRABAs were signed earlier that day, and now it was up to the sororities who had the biggest say. In the morning they’d open their bids with such joy and run all the way home past the leering frat boys. Soon they would discover the meaning of sisterhood, and enter a new chapter as best friends should. But for now they lie sleeping or stressing or peeping onto forums like greekrank where they can slowly drift back to snoozing and dozing. So goodnight to the lovely ladies of Panhellenic, soon you will be home and happy and feeling free in your new fancy houses lining Franklin Street.
