houses that typically take in a lottttt of out-of-state girls are Kappa, Pi Phi, and maybe a couple others depending on where you're from.
looks really don't matter THAT much, but again, it also somewhat depends on the house you're going for.
best advice is to just go in with a super open mind, be yourself, and see where you end up. trust the process, STICK WITH IT, and trust that you'll end up where you're meant to be with people who love you as you are! :)
