rushing a fraternity as a junior possible?

by: john

Would I be at a significant disadvantage rushing as a junior in the fall of 2014? Would it look strange to do so?

I have a 4.0 GPA and I am in Honors Carolina, so I think I have an advantage in academics. I am also the VP of a sports club on campus. Do I have a chance worth pursuing (>30%)?

Also, are there any fraternities in particular that look at academics and don't care so much about age?

Thanks!

Look at Chi Psi. They love good grades and campus involvement, and probably wouldn't care that you're a junior. PKP or Lambda Chi are other possibilities.

Top tier as a junior is unlikely, unless you have a great connection.

Phi delt took a junior in Fall 2013, so I'd say it's possible

Low blow bud. I don't even know the kid and your comment is just stupid.

I would like to have a decent chance, so I'm not very concerned with the top tier ones. The first reply mentioned Chi Psi, PKP or Lambda Chi. Are there any others worth giving a shot? Thanks!
