Houses to avoid if your not rich

Looking forward to rushing this fall. Please be honest and tell me what houses to avoid if you’re not rich.

This question is ignorant. In top tier sororities the girls aren't rich, they just act like it. I'm in a top tier one here and most of the girls are mid class but just buy expensive stuff. If u fake it, u are fine

You shouldn’t try to fake anything. Be who you are and if people don’t like you it’s their loss. Trying to fake it sounds exhausting…and fake

If you go through recruitment trying to fake it you will end up in the wrong sorority for you. Be true to yourself and you’ll be happy. You don’t need to buy expensive stuff to impress people

Why it’s just question from curiosity, Greek life is known to be shallow and with the recent posts on here, it’s concerning at times. There’s nothing annoying about asking a question.

This has to be the tackiest question I’ve ever seen here. Every sorority here has rich girls and girls from middle class families and for the record some of the most amazing Greek women here don’t have family money.

There are rich girls and non-rich girls at every house so don’t rule any of them out. Their dues are all pretty similar

there are always going to be a certain image associated with certain sororities but honestly it’s just because of a couple girls, not the majority. Don’t avoid any houses, go where you like the people the most! Also if money is a thing that’s a concern (from a dues standpoint) many have scholarships/needs based payment plans and alternatives. Just go where you’ll be the happiest

Dues here are cheap compared to lots of other schools and so is tuition so if you can’t afford the dues, don’t go through recruitment
