The big four only have their top status because of history and money. DKEs reputation? Bad. Phi Gam? Bland. Beta and Phi Delt hold their own. There are plenty of places that have cooler brothers and better events but don’t get top house rankings because they don’t have the same history and money.

All comes down to history and money. Just because a house is “top tier” doesn’t mean it’s the best fit for you. Join somewhere where you feel welcomed
