Chi Phi is likely gonna be falling with getting suspended unless it is lifted really quickly.
Phi Gam has been shaky the past few years since their lack of doing anything is catching up to them.
Beta's expansions on to their house are putting them into the running for the best chapter on campus.
SAE is different than the rest but girls still really like them and they're still a top chapter.
Phi Delt and DKE are both solidly the two other best on campus with Beta.
The rest don't really matter.
Top Tier 1: DKE, Beta, Phi Delt
Top Tier 2: Phi Gam, SAE, Chi Phi (with their future looking bleak though)
Commentby: Answers
1)Coming from a non-Chi Phi, I hope they can come back but nobody really knows. They're cool guys and good for the Greek system.
2) SAE is not a traditional "Big 4" fraternity per say but they are decent although you dont hear about the quite as much.
3) Phi Gams tend to be really heady and when not seen riding around on their skateboards theyre at Bobs. That being said, I actually really like Phi Gam.
4) Other than these, they're really arent too many good fraternities. Of the higher middle tier ones, Kappa Sig is decent and some ATO's are straight. Sigma Chi and Nu try really hard to be fratty, Pika sucks, Chi Psi is really academic, and other than that it really doesn't matter. Just rush around and you will find what you like

As far as your "not many good fraternities" comment goes, there are about 8 "good" fraternities on campus that are still solid.
