UNC suspends Phi Gam, Beta, and Kappa Sig

Kevin Guskiewicz’s Twitter: “Today, @UNC suspended University recognition of the campus chapters of Phi Gamma Delta, Kappa Sigma and Beta Theta Pi. We are taking this swift action today because the serious nature of their alleged criminal behavior is contradictory to our code of conduct.”

Phi gam and Beta have enough money to stay unaffiliated like DKE is now and keep their house, but kappa sig looks like they’ll be getting the worst of this and will probably go under.

I don’t think that’s true necessarily. The university does not in any way finance the frats at UNC. In order for their money to dry up they would need to lose their charter from nationals (what happened to DKE) which may or not happen. We’ll just have to wait in see
