Pike vs Pika and Ksig

Why is Pike, how they are called at every single university except for unc, called Pika here?

Pike is a very well known abbreviation.

Same for kappa sig, no one says that, it’s K-Sig.

it's called pika here because they are a single letter chapter. The one here is a Tau chapter so therefore called pika....double letter chapters are called pike
