fraternity spring rush

How difficult is it to get a bid from Chi Psi or Sig ep (other mid tier frats) in the spring, do grades affect their decision? Also, how is their hazing, heard that sig ep doesn't, but what about Chi Psi?

Hazing shouldn't be a factor in what fraternity you join because none of the fraternities haze. IFC regulations have really made it risky and not worthwhile to haze. Most of them all have very strict anti-hazing policies and have the pledges participate in brotherhood building exercises instead that help the new members bond. In my fraternity we don't even call them pledges because that is demeaning and rude. They are referred to as new-members.

These are not at all among the harder bids at UNC. Just don't be a jackass and you'll probably get a bid from either of these houses. They're also not going to ask/care about your grades.

It will probably be about as hard as showing up. If you're capable of doing that, you should be good

do not join a fraternity that does not haze. I'm proud of the pledging that I went through and was happy to go through it, all though there were parts that were very mentally and physically challenging. I wish the university would leave fraternities alone. All of our pledges every year want to be hazed, just like I wanted to when i was a pledge because of the life changing experience that it was.
