kd’s pledge class
by: FactsKd got 58 new members because they offered snap bids and did cob. For those of you bragging about the size of kd’s new member class, google how recruitment quota works. Quota is set based on the number of PNMs that sign the mraba and this year that number was in the low 40s. That is the maximum number a sorority can offer bids to (unless there are quota additions, which wasn’t the case here). To get 58 new members could only be done by kd offering snap bids to girls they previously didn’t want or by doing cob, which probably resulted in offering bids to yet more girls that kd thought weren’t kd material. So before you keep bragging about your numbers you should realize that sororities know how quota works and you aren’t impressing anyone with your 58 number. All you’re doing is reassuring everyone that you aren’t a top tier house anymore and you’ve lowered your standards.

Thank you for explaining this because I’m tired of KD bragging like they actually did something. They give out so many snap bids every single year to girls who dropped out of rush because they didn’t get their first choice. So like congrats KD for the 58 leftovers you have

Y’all are just tight you didn’t get a bid, always hating on top tiers bc you’re in kkg or aphi (only mentioning those two bc they’re all over this site). You would think they’re top with all these posts about them. Get over it, accept that you’re at the bottom of the totem pole.

Kd, you are so stuck up. Please just stop. No one except stuck up brats liked you during recruitment. Im sure girls in kkg and aphi are much happier that they actually joined a genuine sisterhood.

I feel like either the 58 or the quota of 40 number is off. Snap bids can only be given if a chapter is under quota, and COB can only be given if a chapter is under campus total.
I doubt they’d end up that much over quota through COB unless Panhel was more flexible with everyone this year and artificially made campus total higher? In which case most/all chapters would be doing more COB.
