TriSigma’s reputation
by: PnmI want to join a sorority for the philanthropic aspect and the social aspect. I really like SSS and their philanthropy but I heard that they aren’t very social and are considered bottom tier. Is this true? What are some stereotypes about SSS?

First off, the "pnm" response is rude. Tri sigma does not have the best reputation on campus, but I have never met someone mean or rude in their chapter (like I have in ALL of the upper tiers). I'm sure the girls there are very genuine, so if you liked it then listen to your gut. They do not have as many social events as others, but they definitely don't have none AND every chapter this fall is not really having social events. Maybe you can be the new member to help change their social scene.

if you love tri sig, go for it. tri sig offers everything that every other sorority offers on campus if not more bc the members are so genuine. tri sig parties way harder than many realize. they mix with aepi, du, pi lam, lamda, and dx and their socials ive been too have been so much fun. they also can get into frats like any other srat. my friend in tri sig brought me to several ato and sig chi parties. if you like tri sig, go for it. unc isn't Bama or ole miss... tiers just aren't important.
