Phi Mu will probably be giving snap bids along with other sororities. If you made it further than round 1 I think you have a good chance of getting one!

Why do you say phi Mu will probably be giving snap bids?

You are living proof that phi mu’s live on this website trying to make themselves relevant

Uh can't remember when Phi Mu has given snap bids in recent years. Snap bids are normally given by ZTA, Alpha Phi, KD. You probably have a better shot at COBs tbh. I think more sororities normally do that, and I know the ones I mentioned along with Phi Mu and some others have done COBs in the past!

I think you have phi mu confused with kd

Last year phi mu gave out 0 snap bids! Panhel sets a max # snap bids that sororities can Offer on bid day in order to give all houses a chance and phi mu filled that max w/out needing to snap bid. But then after bid day panhel extendEd the max allowing them to take 1 COB a few weeks later. KD and tri delt usually don’t give out snap bids but did last year bc of a bad recruitment season but rarely do they COB!

no!!! do not drop. you can't count on any sorority being able to extend bids through snap bids or cob. if you truly want to join a sorority and make the most out of it, branch out and give another srat a chance. you will find a home in any sorority that you give a real chance. if you drop out you won't have a chance to join another sorority if everyone meets quota for another year

do you think its worth it tho to join a sorority ive been lukewarm with or take my chances on spring? whats spring even going to look like

Spring rush really isn't a thing. Chapters that do it (other than KKG and SSS which I believe do take a small spring pledge class) will maybe take a few girls through it, but it depends and some years very few participate at all. If you drop recruitment and don't get a snap bid freshman year, chances are your best bet is just rushing as a sophomore. You can always give a sorority that gives you a bid a chance, and if you still don't like it, drop it before initiation.

give the ones you feel lukewarm to a chance. i've known tons of people who have joined a srat that wasn't their top choice and fell in love with it. also known a ton of people who joined their top choice and left within a year or two bc the reality wasn't what was presented in videos or during rush

If you accept a bid you won’t be eligible for COB this year. You will have to wait until next fall to rush again.
