Rush is tough but so are you!!

I know it’s annoying to hear trust the process- but the houses who invited you back definitely see something in you/like your personality and think you would be a good fit! Just because a house dropped you doesn’t mean they didn’t like you- it may just be they knew certain girls beforehand, it’s so hard to get to know someone from one conversation. At least go through and see how pref night goes:) if you aren’t a fan and think you don’t vibe with them, you can totally sign up as a sophomore- once you meet new ppl this year and make new friends things get easier. Also know you aren’t alone whatsoever, this week is always full of anxiety and worry over something that is supposed to be fun and allow you to meet new people. Try not to stress and stick it out through pref! I have so many friends who got the sorority they wanted, but also so many who were dead set on a couple and regretted dropping. <3 xoxo

This is why you have to report stuff like that. It's against the rules to follow a PNM before rush ends and they KNOW it will get girls hopes up. All those srats want is girls to think they want them so they'll talk about it to their friends and drive up more interest. Don't fall for shallow stuff like that.

you’re totally right, but i feel like sometimes it’s not the intention to come off that way. girls in sororities want the girl to know they liked them and are interested in them. believe it or not, every girl in a sorority has been through the process and knows it’s tough and they want you to feel better/not worried. i know for me personally most girls i talk to i love and if i could i would invite them back but it’s not one individual members decision to do that (at least not where i am at, i can’t speak for others though). so while i definitely believe some girls do this following thing maliciously, i don’t think it’s always the intent.
however, don’t forget that if they cut you clearly it wasn’t the right place for you and you wouldn’t want to be in a place that cut you because you weren’t on their “list” of girls they know. just saying. if you’re genuinely looking for a place you want to be happy then these places that have girls that act that way aren’t somewhere you want to be. truly, i know rush can be so so stressful but you will get through it!

I know how it feels, adpi bid promised me 😭 the girls made me feel so special just before recruitment and dropped me after round one:(

thank u for the positivity honestly everything is so negative on here and i never write anything on this site but it honestly makes me so sad to see that so many people are upset. just know a lot of times it isn’t up to a single girl, especially in the earlier rounds, if you come back. rush is so hard, especially since there are so many girls for sororities to evaluate and don’t take it too personally.
on another note, it’ll all be okay!!!!! like honestly. some girls have rushed two years in a row and ended up finding an amazing sorority for them. i’m not saying you have to rush twice, but i’m also saying you DONT have to stay somewhere you’re unhappy and you can always rush again if you really want to be in a sorority and feel like it didn’t work out/you’re not happy.

Because they still like you. If other sororities have you higher on their list a lot of times you won’t be able to go to the other sorority. It isn’t all about how One sorority rates you it depends how you’re being ranked at other sororities as well. Just because you didn’t get asked back doesn’t mean they don’t like and want to be your friend
