Did anyone get dropped completely
by: BeattyyyDid anyone get dropped completely? What sororities made the biggest cuts?

I had such convos and have two left both of which i have no desire to be in, i’m just not sure what they’re looking for and how i couldve done anything different. i tried to be nice and engaging but it was sometimes like talking to a brick wall and then i was the one cut it doesnt make sense

Social Distancing, I know a lot of people in sororities have told me to 'trust the process', but I know for a fact I would not vibe with kkg/Tri Sigma and it's more of a matter of not trusting sororities who can make such quick judgements (whereas I'm expected to give all a shot/have an open mind) and lowkey, could be wrong, seem to already have a good idea of who is in their roster before rush even started. Very few sororities yesterday made any attempt to get to know me, two just talked about themselves the entire time and then dropped me and in that situation I can't but think to imagine that they've already had their pc filled and our just going through this process for images.

Some of you are not top tier material and you are having a hard time accepting it. Sometimes we are not as popular, pretty, smart, and accomplished as we think we are. Stop saying things like, I wouldn't vibe with Sigma, or I cant see myself as a KKG, or would people make fun of me if I were a Pi Phi. You seriously sound ridiculous. The girls who are in those sororities are sweet, fun and geunine girls who trusted the process and enjoy their sisterhood. The girls who drop today will regret it in a month when they see what fun everyone is having and the bonds everyone is making. This is not Bama or UGA, so stop acting like tiers matter. Stop being a brat and be open to everyone. Do you really want to be thinking what could have been because you thought you were better than others?

I find your entire response towards the comment previously stated riddled with hypocrisy and entirely feeds in to exactly the problem. First, when did me saying I would not vibe with KKG/Tri Sigma have any indication to you that I believed they were 'less' than me? Unlike the snap judgments sororities have made towards me, my instagram, and my 90 second video, I have showed up to every event with equal enthusiasm and the open mind you chastised me for lacking. You're comment about sometimes thinking we are not as 'pretty, smart, and accomplished as we think we are' is ironic considering the fact that at no point was I asked an intellectual question or anything of substance and was talked at rather than interviewed for the entire first round and then dropped. Similarly, your correlation to looks and top tier says more about your opinions of the necessary and solely external qualities needed to succeed. I'm glad that you feel that your looks, connections, status or any other portion of your assumed greatness have benefited you to find a sisterhood who will benefit you forever! However, you chastising potential new members for feeling 'above sororities' while sororities prim their pledge classes off five minutes of talking (where they make no attempt to get to know you) and dirty rush is the problem, not Pnm's feeling greater than a sorority. It's interesting so many people can continuously have been telling new members to keep an open mind when this expectation has not close to bend extended on behalf of sororities.
