granville floor reputations

is it true that certain halls of granville (specifically all girls- west 8th and 9th) have a certain reputation? is it good or bad? and does this have any impact on rushing in fall

The reputations vary but it’s generally accepted that the girls are either prudes or can’t interact with guys very well, which is why they don’t want to be on a coed floor. All-girl floors are notorious for having lots of drama. It can potentially have a negative impact if the fake catty backstabbing attitudes are observed by active members of sororities, i know for a fact this has happened to multiple girls.

Unfortunately it’s true that those floors don’t have very good reputations but when you think about how things generally happen with a large group of girls a floor full of girls fits that pattern.

TBH it’s bad and it can definitely hurt you during recruitment. The all girls halls know how to breed lots of drama that can be hard to escape.

honestly if you’re on the 8th or 9th floor of west it’s a great convo topic during rush. a lot of girls in the top tier lived on these floors. more drama than coed floors though.
