you're obviously a really angry chi psi brother.... and no, chi psi didnt manage to beat kappa sig because i (affiliated with neither fraternities) went to both parties and kappa sig had at least 3 to 4 times more people. i dont know why this same person in chi psi feels the need to try and up chi psi when everyone knows theyre just not that good. please just give it a rest

What fraternities mix with what sororities?

Any of the top 6 fraternities (and maybe a few more like Kappa Sig and Sigma Chi) mix with any sorority they want to except for Chi O who couldn't have mixers last year.

Mostly, the top 6 fraternities mix with the top 5 sororities that have mixers. So DKE, Beta, Phi Delt, Phi Gam, SAE, and Chi Phi all mix with Tri Delt, KD, ADPi, AXO, and ZTA. Other fraternities mix with the other sororities and maybe some of the sororities mentioned above.

also, sigma chi and kappa sig mix with top 5 sororities unquestionably. sigma chi may dip a little lower into the barrel (phi mu), kappa sig mixes with top 5 for sure, sigma nu may be in the runnings, SLIGHTLY (although probably disqualified for the pi phi adventure they went on, wtf).

basically all relevant fraternities (chi psi - not relevant) mix with all relevant sororities and that's that.

Can someone please give me a realistic take on why people seem to hate chi psi? I promise I'm in high school and I just heard about chi psi from a friend.

They don't, I promise you. People don't even hate Sigma Nu in real life, but on this website people can say whatever and it flies. I guess it's because Chi Psi has had the highest GPA for a while plus a huge property and Sigma Nu has arguably the nicest house in BFC, so it might be jealousy. Think about it, someone in Sigma Chi might be pissed because their house is falling apart and Sigma Nu's looks like a mansion so they bash Sigma Nu on this site (just using an example, not putting Sigma Chi down). Both fraternities get a pretty decent amount of respect and mix with the top sororities (minus Phi Mu for Chi Psi and that Pi Phi thing that happened to Sigma Nu ha). Otherwise their parties get pretty full and they're good guys in both fraternities. Take what you read on this site with a grain of salt and use your judgement when you rush.

everyone definitely hates sigma nu in real life, that's not a lie. nobody hates chi psi, theyre just not really relevant. it's not an attack, it's just facts. they have a really nice house, both of them, just one sucks and one isnt "popular"

All inter-fraternity hate aside, I'll try to be unbiased here. They've traditionally been strong but a few years ago (my freshman/sophomore years) they had trouble with rush. They got that figured out this past year so next year will really determine how strong they are
