sophomore rush

I went all the way through recruitment this fall, but in the end just didnt find the right place for me. Will I be at a disadvantage rushing as a sophomore next year? I still want to do greek life, will having friends in any of the sororities help as a sophomore?

You will most definitely not be at a disadvantage! It is actually a lot easier to rush as a sophomore, because sororities have sophomore quotas and you aren't competing against the freshmen. And in the end, having friends in sororities can make a huge difference. Not to mention the rush process will be easier the second time around. Definitely go for it!
