Places to rush without any connections?

Hey I’m going to be a freshman this fall and want to rush. What are some fraternities that I can rush without really knowing anyone before hand? Do I just show up during rush or do I have to be on the list already? I’m out of state and a minority (if that matters lol)

Rush everywhere u can honestly. Having no connections is not a huge deal, u may not get a big 4 bid but thats nothing to be down about. Many solid fraternities at UNC, Id say check out sig chi, ato, sig nu, chi psi, chi phi, along w big 4 if u can get on their rush lists. Long story short, big 4 is overhyped!

That doesn’t work like you think... big 4 first cuts are decided way before the ifc kickoff thing which is a week into rush

You still gotta know someone in those fraternities though you can’t just show up to a party and expect to get in and put on the rush list

Pikapp is definitely the most lenient of that bunch. I got texted by them about rush events from random dudes once I had already pledged another frat

Also, everyone who rushes has the opportunity to get on every rush list. The ifc holds a mandatory meeting in the student union for new rushees and that is where u can sign up to be on any rush list
