this just isn’t true. aphi has a really hard time recruiting and invites basically everyone back. they’ll probably recruit better with the house but it’ll take more than that for them to compete with axo, zta, and adpi.

This is the most inaccurate post I've seen on here lol. Aphi is nowhere near those 3 sororities. Aphi is constantly looking for girls to give COBs to throughout the year and they do spring rush. No one goes into rush wanting this sorority, either they end up liking it or it's one of their only options. Almost everyone in my rush group tried to drop aphi after round 1 and then was invited back anyways. They have a lot of nice girls but aren't even above phi mu in terms of rank so I don't know what this comment is talking about.

So many girls suicided for aphi last year and still didn’t get a bid so why would they need snap bids. Aphi has been on the same level as AXO and ZTA, now they will definitely be close to ADPis level

no hate towards aphi at all. they seem like nice girls. but they definitely struggle throughout recruitment. you’ll see girls get dropped from adpi, zta, and axo and they’ll end up joining aphi. that’s not a bad thing at all, it’s just the truth. maybe with the new house this year rush will go better for them, but they’re just not as established and memorable as the other houses they “compete” with. they throw together random pc’s every year and there’s not a ton thought to who they take. i hope that’ll change with the new house because they seem like nice people.

i hardly think saying they let everyone in their sorority is accurate. it would be more accurate to say they let anyone who’s pretty in. but honestly, AXO and ZTA are really not much stronger in terms APhi in status or their recruitment performance over the past few years. Aphi’s present status has been with no house, so having a brand new one will def change things, especially given AXO and ZTA’s houses are nothing to write home ab. the long posts dedicated to saying that aphi “lets everyone in” demonstrates that people are threatened IMO. APhi def won’t be top anytime soon, but people need to stop pretending that they’re so far off from other middle tier sororities, they’re really not.

It really seems more like axo is self ranking and seeming pretty desperate to be top lately...notice how any time anything positive is posted about a phi there is suddenly a new tier post or soemthing praising axo and putting down a phi for “self ranking”. That’s sus

^^this is accurate. aphi has some really nice girls but they’re just not at the same level as zta and axo yet. zta and axo didn’t do spring rush and didn’t give out snap bids after bid day. they mix with better frats and have stronger sisterhoods. with aphi’s new house being built i definitely think that’ll help them compete with phi mu for girls tho.

no im not in phi mu and aphi is def on par or lower. lol

no shade at all but u do realize it’s going to look like every other srat house. the furniture will be nice and i’m honestly excited to see them get a house. but it’s really just going to look the same as every other house. nothing special unfortunately.
