FINALLY RESOLVED
That the National Board of Directors will address and may revoke the charter of any chapter which refuses to implement a complete substance-free policy by August 1, 2020 and a substance-free transitional policy August 1, 2018.

What that tells me is that we have a chapter who thinks it is too smart, too cool, too whatever, for the rest of us. That they are special and that the rest of us brothers just don't understand. I don't mourn their decision to leave. It really is a process of self selection. Maybe someday, if we see fit, we can return to the University of North Carolina and build a chapter with brothers who truly believe in our cardinal principles above all else. UNC is a great school. One where SigEp would really like to succeed. But we need to succeed on our terms. Where SigEp is at its best, it is a life-changing organization for its' members based upon a culture centered around our cardinal principles. It is not just a place where people go to party for four years.
