did sig ep's nationals close their chapter?

It’s closing by the end of the year, all members are dropping at the end of the semester

They are turning in their charter voluntary and going independent just like other big chapters like WVU have done recently

SigEp National Fraternity's suspension of chapter activities at the UNC chapter will continue until the investigation into the incident is complete. A membership review by the National Fraternity is standard procedure to limit future claims for potential future bad acts and to protect the national fraternity's relationship with the host school if ultimately a closure and recolonization is necessary.

I’ve hear awful stuff about their nationals, pretty much treat them like numbers and try and extort as much money from houses until they get shut down for literally no reason. Honestly from what I’ve heard from other schools this was bound to happen, nationals are a joke and are just trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of chapters until there’s nothijg left.

They didn’t get shut down, their nationals said either go substance free or they’d revoke the charter, so all members dropped

Membership nationwide is way down and revenues are down too. Jobs on HQ staff are being cut

If anyone was wondering why sigep barely threw down, this is why. Hopefully whoever gets the house next doesn’t have some choch nationals who will stop at nothing to destroy every chapter of sigep nationwide
