frat dues?

I'm not extremely rich and I'm hesitant about joining a frat due to the cost. I've heard most frats cost around $3000 a year including a meal plan - is this true? What would it cost without a meal plan? Also, do you pay as soon as you pledge?

Not all are that expensive. Cheapest I've heard of with house and meal plan is $1500 if you arent living there. There are also plenty of options around the ~$2000-2500 range.

for any frat with a house on campus the meal plan is mandatory.
