I am from out of state and am not close friends with anyone attending Carolina (currently or incoming.) I was wondering how difficult it is to make friends within your pledge class? For example, do groups of friends tend to join the same sororities, are the pledge classes very cliquey, etc. Thank you!

it really depends. Some sororities pick a lot of girls from more metropolitan areas because they all went to the same school. Everyone is generally inviting though. Every out of state girl I know has done just fine getting along with her pc because the whole rush process has a lot to do with what personalities mesh
