do houses take lor into account here?

At one of my friends schools the a letter of recommendation almost guaranteed you a bid from that sorority I was wondering how seriously the houses take letters into account here

not at all, they may help a house recognize you or something but they aren't remotely needed to get a bid and also in no way guarantee you a bid
