unc spring rush

So I am a sophomore transfer student at UNC and I rushed in the fall but dropped out because I was really overwhelmed by the whole process. I'm kind of regretting that decision now and am looking to maybe join a sorority this semester. I was just wondering how spring rush works here at UNC. When does it take place, what houses will be participating, how do houses invite you to events, etc. Any info on spring rush at UNC would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Hey I'm also in the same sitch as you actually and also looking to find out! Any info would be greatly appreciated!

All I know is that it is usually more relaxed than Fall and most of the top tier sororities will not be a part of spring rush since they met their quota (at least from what I've heard). Usually middle and lower are which is fine since the girls are all so sweet. Also, there is an info session tomorrow in the great hall from 7-9 I think (double check that just in case I am remembering my times incorrectly...) about spring recruitment.

I think only SSS, KKG and Alpha Phi will be taking spring pledges from what I’ve heard. Super nice girls in each of these houses! Good luck!

I heard zeta was doing spring rush. There’s one house that wants to remain anonymous from the email I got. Get in touch with the recruitment heads and start meeting with girls. You never know who you’ll click with. Good luck!
