spring rush or cob for sororities
by: anonHey everyone! I went through half of sorority recruitment here this year as a sophomore and had to drop halfway through due to having to go home for family issues. I would really like to join a sorority but don't understand how continuous open bidding works and if there is even a spring rush. Can someone please explain this process to me and does anyone know the sororities that do continuous open bidding? Thanks!

I would reach out to your gamma chi and ask them for the list of sororities that didn't meet quota. They should have the official list (I'm not going to put that on here because I don't know if the ones I heard were true). Each of these sororities will go about the process in a different way; i.e. some will wait till spring and some COB throughout the year. Just reach out to the sororities and see what they have to say. It doesn't hurt and could help you find the right house for you even faster.
