real sorority rankings

This is the best message thread I've read on greekrank! So proud of my fellow greek members and our community.

YALL. Coming from someone in a sorority at another school, this is INCREDIBLE! Being so supportive of one another especially at a time when Greek life gets catty (pre-recruitment time) is beyond commendable. Y'all should be extremely proud of the community you've built

Bump!! Coming from an actual active, please look at this thread, it is the most accurate. The other ranking posts are probably just catty alum or moms because those rankings are ANCIENT anyway and the lines have been so blurred between the houses since I've been at UNC.

Ditto to the post above! I'm also an active and a Junior and can tell you from personal experience, the ranks that people bicker about on this site are BS. Ironically they get posted when most sororities are busy with recruitment practice - so it must be people other than UNC Greeks. Moms? Alumni? Bored GDIs? The vast majority of Greeks I know have a mutual respect for all sororities and will jump at the chance to help when another house has a philanthropy event. I've run in so many 5Ks for Pi Phi, ZTA and KD, eaten at so many pancake dinners, BBQs, etc for other houses, and supported each one any chance I got. The same as all my friends in the Greek community, guys AND girls. It was great seeing your excited faces last night at round 1! Trust the process, don't believe "ranks" or "tiers" and go where your heart takes you. It'll be the best decision you'll ever make. Good luck!!

So much the replies to this. The people calling out specific houses on this site are truly pathetic. All of our houses are so great and I can promise you 99% of the girls in every house do not spend their time on here arguing about rankings. I have friends in pretty much every house and girls that actually talk down about houses out loud are NOT welcomed by others in Greek life. I know that if I heard any of my sisters say half the things that are said about some houses on here, I'd be ashamed to call them a sister.
