alpha phi house
by: FreshyDoes anyone in Alpha Phi know when your house will be built and open? It's a consideration for me as I want to live in the house next year of whichever sorority I join.

I am friends with a lot of Alpha Phis but I'm in a different sorority, so I can't give you an exact answer. But you can't live in any houses until AT LEAST sophomore year (some houses, you won't get a shot at living in it until junior year). I am living in our house as a junior this year.
Their house will most likely be finished before next Fall. This is the last thing I heard, anyway.

I'm a junior now and the people thatI know in Alpha Phi joined freshman year. They were told during recruitment that they would have a house within the year. It's now been 2 years and it doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon. Unfortunately, there are lots of lies told during recruitment on both sides but some chapters are only able to get the girls they do by hiding the truth from them.

I've been hearing vague plans that they've "found the house they want and are going to sign for it by next semester" or "they're going to begin construction this year" since the beginning of when the chapter founded at Chapel Hill.
I don't know if there actually is a solid plan in place or if they are being optimistic in order to get new girls to join. I feel as though they would be very vocal and specific about it on their social media stuff if they really do have plans in place so maybe look there?
