low gpa sorority recruitment
by: .Thinking about rushing as a sophomore, but worried my gpa is low.. is that going to stop me from being chosen from most sororities? Academics were hard for me the first year, but I am working on pulling it up. Besides that I think I have good qualities

It depends on how low we are talking about. Most sororities have an academic standard for recruitment meaning like if you're below a 2.5 or whatever number the standard is, they automatically cut you from the first round. It can be unfair (because some majors are way harder than others), but if you are above 2.7 you should be okay for all the houses at UNC.
