rushing as a sophomore

I didnt rush a sorority my first year at UNC mainly because of family commitment. I know a few people in several houses and I'm definitely open to whatever one I end up in. I was just wondering if my year would really get in the way of me having any bid, since i feel like I've heard a couple different responses.

No, it shouldn't be a problem, it's pretty common for sophomores to go through recruitment. I know girls in almost every house who joined as sophomores.

Houses actually have sophomore quotas anyways so there are bids basically reserved for sophomores, I went through the same thing and it worked out really well and I know multiple other girls who have done it too so don't worry
