penn state vs unc
by: PI go to Penn State right now and was thinking about transferring to UNC. I was tryna figure out the differences between the rush process between Penn State and UNC. At Penn State theres open houses first where like 1000 kids show up to the best houses and then later that week frats basically text random kids and their friends to come to the rush events. The first rush event has like 100 kids and then it goes down until bid dinner where theres like 30 kids and most of the time those 30 kids get bids. The rush process is very selective and its kind of hard to get into a nice frat that you would join. I was trying to get a feel for what UNC's rush process it like.

Considering that Penn State's administration has just cancelled fall rush in 2017, and will only allow spring rush ever after, Penn State's rush process is not going be what you just described. A lot of fraternities will get underground pledges in the fall, which will make the administration even more anti-greek, and things will get more screwed up from there.

They're getting texts from brothers now. Big 4 frats are having parties now for guys that are going to be freshmen in the Fall. Beta had one last weekend.

Yea I know that, Im thinking about transferring and am talking about the difference between the rush process I experienced in fall compared to the rush process going on at UNC every semester.
