junior transfer rushing?

by: SS

I might possibly transfer here as a junior from a community college, is this school open to juniors rushing? Would top tier houses immediately write me off?

But are you male of female?? That was the question. Big difference between frat and sorority rush.

As a junior it would be very difficult to join a good (or any) fraternity. Hazing gets awkward when you're older or the same age as the guys. Sororities though? Much different.

We have had juniors pledge my house before that wern't even transfers. It doesn't end up being a big deal. Some houses will be ok with it others won't, and you'll see who's going to allow it early on. What you really need to consider is, do you care that your closest friends in the house are going to be the freshman? If not then you're fine.
