Typically houses like ZTA, Pi Phi, and KKG do spring recruitment I think. Some houses like A Phi do continuous open bidding throughout the year. Talk to your friends in different sororities, most houses have at least 1 or 2 spots that open up during the year from girls graduating early or dropping out.

Well I have friends who are active members in both ZTA and Pi Phi who went through spring recruitment. The houses I listed are the ones most likely to do it, but it changes every year. There's nothing wrong with having spring recruitment.

It's nice that you have friends....but I'm in ZTA and I'm telling you that we haven't had spring rush!

Most houses just do COB for friends of sisters. ZTA, Pi Phi, Phi Mu, and Kappa have all done this in the past. APhi did COB throughout the year and spring recruitment last year when they were a colony and needed more girls, but I'm not sure if they'll still do that this year. Sigma usually has a structured spring recruitment and they shine in informal recruitment. Spots open up due to girls who drop, graduate, and study abroad, so most houses won't know if they have spots until next semester. Just talk to your friends in sororities to see if they're recruiting.

ZTA and Pi Phi haven't done Spring rush in several years. Every house occasionally takes girls they know when spots open up. Chi O just took one, for example. KKG hasn't had an organized spring rush lately either, but SSS almost always does. Don't give out info if you don't know what you're talking about.
