A girl in my rush group is dropping. She went to bid day and stuck it out for a couple of days but is dropping. Not sure why.

yeah, they're had two pledges drop, they're not going to hide it. but tri delt has had 5 pledges drop, axo 3, adpi 1, so its really not a big deal..

pledges dropping isn't as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

maybe the person got their second choice and is upset about that? or being in a sorority isn't what they thought it would be? or financial issues? ya know?

probably not, if they take anyone they won't "officially" announce it because they'll just take one or two girls that are their close friends. sororities like kkg and tri sig almost always do spring rush

Most sororities that have spaces in the spring have so few that they just do COB, usually with sisters' friends. Pi Phi took three girls last spring (check their insta). Since quota was lower more sororities might do COB in the spring and bid up to total.

Everyone has a few drop. Some realize they don't like the time commitment or they don't like everyone in their pledge class. Who knows the reasons...
