by: ConfusedI'm a junior in a different sorority and I have a lot of friends in zeta who love it. They raise so much money for their philanthropy and always seem to have service events or socials going on. Why does everyone say they are so bad?

The ONLY reason you would come on here and ask that question is to create some drama. If you really have friends in ZTA (which I doubt) they should know that you are getting in line to throw them under the bus. I don't like ZTA, so I'm not defending them. But you are a coward trying to pretend you're their friend and then asking for more dirt on them - just for your own entertainment.

I know its talked about often with all of the houses to one degree or another, but how exactly does bid promising (which I'm guessing is the same as dirty rushing?) actually help a house...especially if they don't end up ttaking the girls they do it to? I'm sure there's a method to the madness, but I just don't it?

How does bid promising/dirty rushing benefit you if you don't end up taking the girls it's done to?
And can a house actually "know" whether or not they will get a girl for sure by how they rank her on pref night? Like if a girl ranks a house first, might that house honestly think that they will get her and then be as surprised as she is that they didn't?
I've read that if her second choice/pref house has ranked her really high, then they can actually get her...even though they weren't her first choice, especially if her first choice house ranked her high, but not "as high" as her second. True??
