The fact that all the comments about a phi supposedly "rising in the ranks" have tons of thumbs up And anything negetive about them has tons of thumbs down, I'd be willing to bet that it's more than one girl. Plus I literally overheard some new a phi pledges talking about how they were a "mid tier house like zeta" so that was hilarious
Besides, this has been going on for months, and their personal page is just a bunch of self ranking.
Not impressed with the attitude of that chapter

The people posting on here aren't Pi Phi's or Kappas. They are classy ladies that have a mutual respect for each other. Not sure why someone would get their kicks by trying to put them against each other.

I think kappa did do better this year than usual, however because they have a reputation for being bottom tier for different things, one of which is never making quota, and pi phi has never had this issue, pi phi should be ranked next to phi mu and kappa should be just below.

It's interesting, because when my mom was at UNC she said there was a Kappa Alpha Theta here and they were the ones that were just a notch above SSS. Kappa was known as the "smart" house and Pi Phi was known as the "cool, laid back, slightly intimidating girls". When Theta left, Kappa just kindof slid into that spot by default and by nothing that they did. It shows that ranks and "reputations" mean absolutely nothing. Kappa and Pi Phi both had a great recruitment and I hope their new members know how lucky they are to be part of an amazing sisterhood.

That's false. Kappa and Sigma were both solid middle tier until the early 2000s. DZ and Phi Mu were the bottom 2 houses. Phi Mu closed in 2002 and DZ closed in 2003. That's when Kappa and Sigma slid into the bottom 2.

It's true, both Pi Phi and Kappa made quota this year, as they have the last few years. Here are the active member counts for each sorority for the last 4 semesters according to the UNC Fraternity and Sorority Academic reports for Fall 2014/Spring 2015/Fall 2015/Spring 2016:
Pi Phi - 187/180/179/180
Kappa - 154/163/168/176
Kappa has grown quite a bit the last few years, Pi Phi is about the same. KD, ADPi, and AXO typically have around 190 girls.

Thanks for this information! Interesting that KKG and DDD both had 176 members in spring of 2016.

All but Sigma made quota. However, I will say, although their pledge class is smaller, they got some really cute girls. Their entire pledge class was all smiles and happy in their bid day pics.

I heard that they didn't and Sigma didn't. And ZTA has had a few pledges drop since bid day so they're probably low too.
